Light winds are predicted for Sat. I'm considering stuffing a 6XL case in my Wildman Jr and trying to hit mach 1. Am I insane???

Sounds like a perfect day for it! Aim your rail based off of other high flyers. Make sure you have good gps & tracking signal.
I won't be there, but I wish you the best and look forward to your results.
What Jason said, would love to see it fly Tim !!!

Dave, should be great weather this weekend. One thing about flying high is you want your rocket down ASAP, especially if there are any upper winds. If you weren't already planning on doing so, I'd fly it drogueless, especially since it's such a small diameter rocket.
Good idea, Tim. I flew it at the SRA launch with a small 10" drogue and it came down at ~55 fps so going drogueless wouldn't be too much faster.
I may not have room for more than just cordage anyway with the 6xl case. I don't have one yet to gauge the space, I was planning to try to borrow one from Tom's Rocket Gear or just buy one on launch day.
