screech EX flight 2.datDescription
Little shy of 10k but no matter. Went pretty straight with minimal weathercocking toward apogee. Landed 1300 feet SE of pad. Not sure what happened during boost but I was using RTx GPS system. It always had a fix (LAT/LON) and 10-11 sats in view but never saw altitude. Also barely missed landing on the 500 kV power lines - WOW!
MARSA accel altitude was 10329'. Spoke with MARSA mfg. & he stated that the baro is probably accurate since the rocket turned into wind near apogee and acelerometer just measures 1 direction. Also from video it appears that the backup charge fired a bit early (slightly before apogee).
On board video too - this rocket is a spinner - disappointed. Two videos posted, one unedited & the other cleaned up & shortened.
There must be a bug in Insane Rocketry as my flight data will not plot/truncated.

Glad that I'm not the only one with 'spinners'. and Tim you can correct that with masking tape on the fins, lets work on that together..
Yea I knew not all my rockets were perfect - haha! Get really dizzy on this one!
