This has been a long time since this rocket was launched. I will use a streamer again and a GoPro Camera in the booster. Hope the wait is not too long so the camera will keep on working. I also have to meet John Hill for a bunch of CTI motors that he bought from Bernie. Hoping for a nice smooth day at Palm Bay.
Update 04/24/2024 - Loaded the charges already and installed. Folded streamer and installed in booster with dogbarf. Have a chute protected in there also. Will test the AvBay and stratologgers soon and work on the upper bay.
Update 04/28/2024 - Good thing I checked the strotologgers today. One connection got disconnected, all good now.Main chute is folded and installed, also made the z-ties. Still need some dogbarf.
Update 05/05/2024 - Stratologgers tested and okay'd. Will test the AvBay again and the snuggyness.
Update 05/07/2024 - Finished the upper section, dogbarf, and Avbay loaded and installed. Since that rocket got wet the last launch, some parts were very difficult and tight to install.
Update 05/09/2024 - Got a message that the launch is on hold because of the drought. Tom went to the field today and there were 3 fires going already. So probably not launching this weekend.
Update 05/11/2024 - Launch Day - No Go - Drought index to high.
Update 05/17/2024 - Still no word on any launch date, the drought index is still over 500 in Palm Bay area. Will launch this rocket in July I hope, No launch in August for me, September Airfest is too closeby.
Update 06/07/2024 - Again drought index is to high, like 671, no launch this weekend.

Update 07/11/2024 - Launch Day is a GO for Saturday, I will try to make it there, feel much better then the last few months. Hope to see John Hill there with my motors, and Tim. Not sure if I will be launching, Will bring my rocket for sure.
Update 07/13/2024 - LAUNCH DAY - My Car wal all packed up for launch and to meet John Hill for some K motors, but did not feel so good, So I called John Hill and asked him to swing by the house to drop off some motors and he did later that day around 6:30 PM, Was a real nice guy and I hope that he comes more often to the SRA launches.
For now I just want to concentrate on my health issues and get ready for Airfest 30 in Kansas in September ! Hope I get there safe.
Update 08/10/2024 - LAUNCH DAY - again, no go. Busy with my Airfest 30 project-X. According Tim het started raining around lunch rime and there were just a few launches. But hope to launch this rocket after Airfest is all done.
