Nose is too deep for to easily insert electronics. This is the bay insert(left) and sleeve(right). Radio is installed in insert and pushes into top section inside sleeve, phone tilted as much as possible in lower section. While the radio fits very snug, I installed opposing safety lips prevent the radio from getting lodged deep in the nosecone should it get abrupt knock on landing.
I still need to cut huge hole for camera, insert glass(in nose, not sleeve), create electronics drawers, install shock cording (from top of nose all the way down, outside sleeve), glue insert into nose.
I had to cut 1/4" section off the radio where the transmit button as the nose is too narrow where I am placing the radio (view the large image, it's mangled -ha!). Since I have direct wiring to bluetooth, the transmit button is not necessary.
