Wind was stronger this time than when I went to LaBelle causing altitude to be less by 877 feet.
Beautiful day, great flight.
Tape to stabilize spin worked great until leading edge started unpeeling(on the weaker outer tape). This then caused spin extreme. Will try spin test again next flight.
My EZI-65 had a very rare chance indeed to be followed by a powerful N motor while still airborne. Here the the shots of Chris's rocket launch, from my rocket. My rocket was around 1000 feet AGL, and a half mile away at the time.
In the video, during the entire descent, you can see infrequent flickers of light that are my rocket. This is thanks to the chrome monokote that I have on part of the surface. You can also hear Chris's powerful N motor launch and see his smoke blow through during the descent of my rocket. Unfortunately, no footage of his launch so that we wouldn't loose sight of my rocket.
Ground footage thanks to Kevin Boyd, Freddy Willems, and my lovely wife, Kimberly.
