EZI-65-double detonation of drogue charges

EZI65C1_20140712.pf2Description
Great flight, double detonation on drogue charge, slight zippering. More spin than usual. Main deployed during descent at 5k due to problem with wiring of serial transmit cable for live telemetry. Main sheer pins just bent rather than sheering from it being hotter, still correct result, but I didn't like it. Very hot.

Reflecting back on this flight in 2014, I have not had double detonation of charges happen again. The solution to this problem was to increase the wadding on front of the charge and to insure there is at least an inch of space between the two charge cylinders.
What is double detonation? Firing at same time??

Yes, on this flight in 2014, one pyro set off the other. This was due to not enough wadding \ spacing between the two charges.

Got it! I use canisters so don't think it is an issue!
