10.1k Launch, 13 MPH winds on ground, 26mph at 2500 feet, then virtually no wind by 3500. It was a great launch!
I almost landed in the canal, had a strong wind blown, my vertically oriented rocket would have fallen in! The Orange Grove all around and I almost had the unlikely scenario.
I have excellent onboard video, telemetry, and little rotation (a total of 4 revolutions up to apogee.)
Velocity from altimeter(stratologger & phone barometer) says 680 miles per hour, but I will trust the phone's computed velocity based off of Gs as it is more in line with estimated peak velocity. G data math computes velocity at 298 ft/sec or 666.7 mph. Barometer data is excellent for computing peak altitude, but less accurate for computing velocity.

Awesome flight Jason !!
Thanks Freddy, I'm just glad that windyty was correct and there was no wind at higher altitude. If there had been, I don't think I would have gotten it back.
