I must have looked at this frame 20 times before I realized it had the nosecone and nymex-wrapped drogue in it (view largest-original).
This shot confirms electronic drogue deployment as the likely cause of failure. Software did not create the problem like I originally thought. A short-circuit, short, static, cold solder-joint, solder flake, etc. caused the failure.
Prior to this frame, I was questioning if I had some type of physical part (like coupler, body tube, etc) failure. But now I see all the signs, even on the parts that broke due to the forces at play from drogue deployment.
Now that I know what happened, the next step is to see if I can re-create the conditions.
Bay and nose came down with the chute ripped off the lines, and just a small corner of the nymex chute protector left.
