Angle at liftoff is 10 degrees
Angle at Max Velocity is 18 degrees (due to wind clocking)
1/cos(18)=1.0515
So, whatever velocity the stratologger reports at max velocity needs to be multiplied by 1.0515 for true max velocity since the stratologger only measures vertical displacement, without the horizontal element.

Why 10 degree angle?

23mph winds were predicted almost all the way up. It looks like it will be less now so we'll have to re-compute.

With a launch to 17k, we placed that in the openrocket and adjusted tilt until rocket would land on the field. Ideal was actually 12 degrees but neither of us liked that much angle. Amazing how much the extra altitude effects the launch angle.

We used flight side profile in OpenRocket to get landing prediction.

Also, does openrocket account for weathercocking or just angle?
