Too windy for the blast - rescheduled for Turkey & Grits!
11/25/17: Launched at GRITS, nice boost but wind was picking up & drifted a bit. Landed about 1/2 mile south of pad. Roy the neighbor gave me a ride on his ATV to retrieve it. Landed in a harvested cotton field on access road next to trees. Booster was in the tree, chute was on the road. For the winds aloft, this rocket drifts too much even with no drogue!
Update 11/27/17: Photos & flight data uploaded!

Hell Yeah, let it fly again !
Wow great flight TIM.. But it also seems that one of the 'drogue' z-ties did not unwrapped, I I had that also before and now I use rubber bands. Also there is just one tree line and it had to land in there !!! Dam !

Yea I noticed that too Freddy. My cord is pretty long, have seen it before on other rockets. Maybe energy was dissipated before it pulled last z-fold?

IF your shock cord was shorter, it is indicative of less than expected pressure from ejection charge and would merit investigation to find out the cause. Loose fitting parts can be dangerous as you don't know how much leakage could occur, especially if you have sheer pins.
Am I correct with the video showing that they finally did release when main blew? If so, I'd leave as is, as it is a great shock absorber for main release.
If not, either increasing the ejection charge strength or slightly tear your masking tape on those last z wraps to create a weak point would do the trick.

No shear pins, just friction fit. It is a pretty tight fit though. I'll have to go back and look at another video & see if it was the same.
