HELL CAT II - FIFTH FLIGHT

Getting this rocket out for a streamer test launch at the SRA field. Did not decide about the motor yet, Texting Bernie now if he has some 4 or 5 grain motors, did not see what I needed in his bucket last launch at NEFAR. A bit disappointed. But if not we will go with a 5 grain motor !

Update 07/18/2019 - This rocket is prepped and ready for Bunnell to Launch in August. Motor will be the K400 Green ! Hoping for a real show landing with the streamer. Also double checked the weight of the rocket and it is now 5430 grams = 11.97 Lbs with 134' streamer included.

Update 07/23/2019 - Change of motor - Have a J355 red lightning that I will use, with a better altitude for the new field. Using a streamer should make the rocket land close by and hopefully an easier recovery than last time in SRA - Palm Bay. Motor will take the rocket to almost 4K. Hope for clear blue skies and a Red motor take off !

Update 08/03/2019 - Charges loaded and connected. Tested the stratologgers. All good. Noticed that the main stratologger was set at 1225 feet and also a 5 sec delay on drogue deployment ??? Don't no why this happened. Will re check that stratologger again before flight. All good for now. Have to use another sled because the original sled with stratologgers was sent in to Perfectflite for checking a stratologger, so far no news, their service sucks big time lately...

Update 08/05/2019 - Tested the phone, all working well, talk when vertical and video seems to be active. Charging now.

Update 08/08/2019 - Loaded the motor, greased the motor and installed more O rings on both sides. Repacked the streamer and it seems there is still space for the RTX on the side... Charging some batteries now..

Update 08/09/2019 - Car loaded, all charged, camera's ready, phones (2) ready, RTX still charging in the morning, Tagg charged. Flight card completed, ready ! Is has been raining and storming in my area this evening, hope the field is dry..

Update 08/10/2019 - LAUNCH DAY - Incredible hot day, very humid ! Every body was sweating like a pig.. Low turnout, my guess like 7 flyers. Short briefing at 10 AM, all good to go. Launched early, was actually waiting for Jimmy to show up, and he did in time ! He captured the while flight ! Got rocket prepped, phone in and working great, did not line up the window and camera eye properly, hard to see in the sun !! Rocket went straight up ! Nice red flame, not to fast but just right ! Streamer worked perfect and landed not for from pads in open field. Recovery was a breeze ! Also bought a set of two grain motors for my other 3" rockets for next time! great fun but real HOT day !!!

Phone was working great, Have videoand Launch data. Had the phone for the most part in the cooler and there was no waiting line for launching..
