Sad day for the Boob Tube. I inadvertently did what Freddy did last month & forgot to attache the booster shock cord to the AV bay. This flight was kind of odd too. I aimed this thing perfectly straight up since there was barely any wind & it weather-cocked to the WSW. Got everything back from AV bay forward but the booster & motor case were lost to therocket gods. We could see both the main & booster section coming down & they landed close to one another but I couldn't find the booster. Weeds too deep in the area it landed which was about 1200 feet WSW of launch area. Also have on-board & ground video. Will post later!
12/1/18: Guy who cuts our field at SRA found the Boob Tube. Some damage to air-frame but it can be rebuilt!

Awe Tim, so you lost the booster and a 54 mm casing ? dam... And yes I was very lucky last time finding both parts. I hope you will find them back also !! I really do Tim !!!
Did the rocket go 15000 feet Tim ?

Yes, lost a 54mm case. That was probably the worst thing to lose but I really liked the reflective fins and they are no longer made. I looked several times but the weeds are so deep I really don't ever expect to find it. I only have a general idea where it came down

Sorry it was lost , glad you got great video!
Video shows ~5k flight, but flight details say 15k?
My bad. Entered the altitude in meters.
