After one 'successful' flight, well eh hmm, and one NO GO attempt, I'm prepping this rocket again for the two day Blast at Bunnell. Rocket is all prepped up from the previous Launch. So I will re-check the charges and the Stratologgers and hope to fly it this time. I have two motors ready, one K454 SK and an J295 W, just in case that Sparkies are not allowed.Weather has been funny lately and dry also, so hoping for a GO Launch.
Update 10/18/2018 - Today I did a check with the RTX / Bluetooth / radios. I was wondering what causes RTX to reboot or shutdown suddenly. When all is running, like IR/bluetooth/phone and when I switch on the radios channel 19 than the RTX fails !!! I wonder what frequencythat might be so I can try another channel and make it work I hope.
Update 11/01/2018 - Mentioned to Missile Works about the Radio and RTX problem, still waiting on an answer.... maybe never... Oh well... Still hoping we can launch this weekend at the two day blastshould be fun with Clayton his super duper Nike smoke !!! haha
Update 11/07/2018 - It looks like we are launching this coming weekend, It will be busy like Hell !!! Will bring my rocket and see what happens.
Update 11/08/2018 - Just decided to fly this one on a J295, keep it around or below 5000 feet. Saved the skidmark for a heavier rocket next time. All is still loaded from last NO GO flight, chutes, charges and Z-ties all ready. Will check the voltage of the stratologgers again. Stratologgers Check = OK.
Update 11/09/2018 - Last minute CANCELLATION - We lost the field - unknown why... Hopefully looking for new field soon. Lots of posts and comments going on on Facebook now..
I figured. Just messing with you! It will be just like I said on Facebook. A lot of people from the south like coming to the blast but I think they will be disappointed this year. I was last week.
