I am actively involved in teaching STEM with my local scout troop and beyond. My standard STEM activity has been high altitude balloon launches and I decided to branch out into rocketry. I bought this rocket for $75 or so thinking it had the launcher and igniter and got it home and it had neither.... I hated this thing!!!!! My first major rocket purchase and it's a dud. I was heart-broke. Well, I got it together, changed things a bit, added an ugly instrumented nosecone and GoPro and a chute rlease and watched it launch for the first time. I was captivated! This is a GREAT rocket!!! It will hit roughly 1000 feet on a G80 motor and you can see it during the entire flight which the kids loved! I have since invested in reloadable rockets and will be using this for my L1 flight hopefully this Saturday. Love this rocket. Here is a video of it in action:

If you get this kit, make sure you are getting the newer one with the newer style motor mount.
